Week of 21/1/08 A brilliant book with such captivating illustrations. A beauty by Oliver Jeffers.
Week of 28/1/08 A fantastic tale with rhyme and rhythm. It simply flows and you can't help but reading with expression. Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler create more magic.

Week of 4/2/08 A beautiful tail (excuse the pun) about a lonely homeless dog... Where does his journey take him? Fantastic pictures with a wealth of emotional literacy by Stephen Michael King

Week of 25/2/08 Get this book. A fantastic story within a story, within a story. Anthony Browne continues to inspire us all with simple words and clever illustrations...ones that make you notice and feel the story. We love it. (Also great because we are planting & creating our own forests!)

Week of 10/3/08 Learners love this book. It's full of humour, possibilities and questions. Beautifully illustrated with a simple but endless story line.

Week of 6/5/08 This soon to be classic has so many unexpected leaps it's funny! We love it because of the communication focus and alternative edge it has. A beautiful book that makes everyone laugh!
