Year 6 Residential Visit - Torquay

In Summer 2018 we will be offering our Yr 6 pupils the opportunity to participate in a PGL residential visit to Barton Hall, Torquay.

At Abbots Green we value the importance of residential visits as an invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially, and for our Yr 6 children this will be a great opportunity to develop lifelong memories from their final year at primary school. The trip will take place from Monday 11 June – Friday 15 June 2018 and will include:

  • A full daily programme of activities
  • 2 Excursions (Eden Project and Paignton Zoo)
  • A full programme of evening entertainment

The trip will be led by Mrs Morrison in conjunction with PGL Travel Ltd, a first class operator with a solid reputation for organising school trips - a reputation built up from over 50 years experience in the school travel business.

We have arranged a Parent Information Session on Friday 16 June at 2:45pm in the Hall to explain more details. Children currently in Yr 5 will also have the opportunity to watch a presentation DVD during the school day highlighting the types of activities PGL offer.
